Please read these Terms carefully before using WDIF. By registering for or using the services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
About WDIF and Acceptance of Terms
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User”, “you”) and WDIF (“What Did I Forget?”, “we”, “us”, “our”), governing your access to and use of the WDIF mobile application, website, and related services.
- The WDIF mobile application available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
- The website at wdif.app.
- All related features, content, and services, including Trippy AI.
By creating an account, downloading the app, or using the services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, have legal capacity to enter into this agreement, and agree to these Terms in full.
These Terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services.
- You must not be prohibited from using the Services under applicable law.
- You must provide accurate, current, and complete registration information.
- One person may not maintain more than one active account.
Account Registration and Security
3.1 Registration
To access the Services, you must register for an account using a valid email address and password, or via Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In. You agree to provide accurate and truthful registration information.
3.2 Account Security
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
- Use a strong, unique password and do not share it with third parties.
- Notify us immediately at support@wdif.app if you suspect unauthorized access.
- Log out after each session on shared devices.
3.3 Account Accuracy
You agree not to impersonate any person or entity or create an account using false information. WDIF reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts containing inaccurate or misleading data.
Description of the Services
4.1 Core Features
- Smart Packing Lists — AI-assisted packing recommendations based on your trip destination, dates, and type.
- Weather at Destination — real-time and forecast weather information sourced from third-party providers.
- Travel Reminders — customizable pre-trip reminders and notifications.
- Trippy AI — an AI-powered travel assistant that provides travel-related guidance.
4.2 Freemium Model and One-Time Purchases
- Free Tier — access to core features at no charge, subject to usage limits.
- Premium Subscription — enhanced features and increased usage limits via recurring billing.
- One-Time Purchases — certain features or content packs may be offered as a single non-recurring purchase.
4.3 Service Availability
We aim to provide the Services continuously, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Services may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, technical issues, or circumstances beyond our control.
Subscriptions, Payments, and Refunds
5.1 Billing
All subscription and one-time purchase billing within the App is processed by YIGIM Payment Services. WDIF does not store or process your raw payment card details.
5.2 Subscription Renewal
Premium subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
5.3 Price Changes
We reserve the right to change subscription pricing at any time with reasonable notice.
5.4 Refunds
All purchases are final and non-refundable except as required by applicable mandatory law. Refund requests should be submitted to support@wdif.app.
5.5 Free Trials
Where a free trial is offered, it begins on the date you activate it. Unless cancelled before the trial ends, it may automatically convert into a paid subscription.
Trippy AI — Important Limitations and Disclaimer
6.1 Nature of Trippy AI
Trippy AI is powered by the OpenAI API and is intended to assist with general travel planning. AI-generated responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or unsuitable for your specific circumstances.
6.2 No Reliance
- You will not rely solely on Trippy AI for decisions affecting health, safety, finances, or legal rights.
- WDIF makes no warranty as to the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of Trippy AI output.
- Travel, visa, health, and safety advice must be independently verified with official sources.
6.3 Prohibited Inputs
- Sensitive personal information such as passport numbers or financial account details.
- Personal data of third parties without their consent.
- Any content that violates these Terms or applicable law.
Packing Lists and Weather Information — Disclaimer
Packing recommendations are generated algorithmically based on the information you provide and may not account for specific personal needs, airline restrictions, or destination requirements. Weather data is sourced from third-party providers and may be inaccurate or subject to sudden change.
Intellectual Property
8.1 WDIF Ownership
All content, features, design, code, graphics, logos, trademarks, and materials comprising the Services are owned by or licensed to WDIF and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
- You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.
- You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
- You may not remove copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices.
- You may not use WDIF’s name, logo, or trademarks without approval.
8.2 Feedback
If you submit feedback or suggestions, you grant WDIF a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use and commercialize that feedback without compensation.
User-Generated Content
9.1 Definition
User-Generated Content includes any content you create, upload, or share through the Services, including packing lists, notes, trip details, and profile information.
9.2 Your Licence to WDIF
By submitting UGC, you grant WDIF a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, store, process, and display that content solely as necessary to operate the Services.
9.3 Your Representations
- You own or have the necessary rights to submit the content.
- The content does not infringe third-party rights.
- The content does not violate these Terms or applicable law.
Prohibited Conduct
- Violating applicable law or regulations.
- Engaging in fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading conduct.
- Attempting unauthorized access to WDIF systems or user accounts.
- Introducing viruses, malware, or other malicious code.
- Scraping or harvesting data through automated means.
- Impersonating any person or entity.
- Using Trippy AI to generate harmful, illegal, or misleading content.
Account Suspension and Termination
11.1 Termination by You
You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@wdif.app or using the deletion option in the App.
11.2 Suspension or Termination by WDIF
- You breach these Terms.
- We suspect fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity.
- We are required to do so by law or competent authority.
- Your continued use poses a risk to the Services or other users.
11.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your licence to use the Services ceases immediately and access to your account and saved data may be revoked.
Disclaimer of Warranties
- The Services may not always meet your requirements or expectations.
- Packing recommendations may not be complete or suitable for your trip.
- Weather information may not always be accurate or timely.
- Trippy AI responses may not be current, complete, or appropriate.
Limitation of Liability
WDIF’s total aggregate liability shall not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to WDIF in the three months preceding the claim or AED 100, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless WDIF and its affiliates from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from:
- Your use of the Services.
- Your breach of these Terms.
- Your violation of applicable law or third-party rights.
- Any user-generated content you submit.
Dispute Resolution and Arbitration
15.1 Informal Resolution
Before initiating formal proceedings, you agree to contact WDIF at support@wdif.app and provide details of the dispute.
15.2 Binding Arbitration
If informal resolution fails, disputes may be finally settled by binding arbitration administered by the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), in English, by a sole arbitrator.
15.3 Class Action Waiver
You agree to resolve disputes on an individual basis only and waive participation in any class or representative action.
Third-Party Services and Links
The Services may integrate with or link to third-party services including OpenAI, YIGIM, Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and weather providers. These services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
- WDIF does not endorse or assume responsibility for third-party services.
- WDIF is not liable for loss or damage arising from your use of such services.
- Your use of third-party services is at your own risk.
Modifications to the Services and Terms
17.1 Changes to the Services
WDIF reserves the right to modify, update, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time, with or without notice.
17.2 Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When material changes are made, we will notify users via email and/or in-app notice before the changes take effect.
General Provisions
18.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any additional terms applicable to specific features, constitute the entire agreement between you and WDIF.
18.2 Severability
If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
18.3 Waiver
WDIF’s failure to enforce any right or provision shall not constitute a waiver.
18.4 Assignment
You may not assign your rights or obligations without prior written consent from WDIF.
18.5 Force Majeure
WDIF shall not be liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond reasonable control.
18.6 Language
These Terms are written in English. In the event of conflict between translations, the English version prevails.
